Day 35

The bus...

Look at that beautiful blue sky, will ya? This is such a wonderful time of the year! I love spring.

Lauren just loves riding the bus. She feels like such a big girl and next year she will ride it all by herself.

Her pigtails are so precious. Its like going back in time when the girls' hair is in pigtails. Such a sweet face. She is growing up too fast.

Day 34

No pic today either. Besides waking up sick, today was just plain bad. Those of you who know me well, know the drama. For those of you who don't, let me just say that giving birth does not make a mother. Mothers are grown with love, compassion and loyalty. It cannot be bought or manipulated, it simply is.I have a birth mother and I have a mom; they are not one in the same. For Brenda, I love you and thank you.

Day 33

No pics today. I have been proofing all day and I can feel the yucks coming on. I tried to take one in the evening, but it didn't work out. Hopefully, I will get back on it tomorrow.

Day 32

Its good to have friends...

Today was another perfect day outside so all the kids enjoyed the nice weather. Cole was cruising in his Gravedigger which I couldn't believe had held its charge throghout the winter!


Meg was disecting an acorn (I think) while she waiting somewhat patiently for her 4 wheeler to finish charging.





Lauren loves our neighbor's scooter and of course, she won't ride her own. She is really getting the hang of the big one!

And this is Cole's best friend, Colin. He knows just what to do when he sees me with my camera...he stops and flashes those big blue eyes and killer smile. :)

Day 31

GeoTraxxin'...

These suckers are so much fun! Its really a shame that the sets are soooo big they take up an entire room when contructed and four/five large bins to put away.

Day 30

A Bootiful day...

Yesterday was unbelievably gorgeous outside so from 4:30 in the afternoon until well past dark we were outside. I had told Lauren that yesterday would be her blog day, but I didn't have a chance to post them until today.

She loves to cruise in her Mustang and it fits her so perfectly. I just don't want to think of the day she is behind the wheel of a real one.

Just look at those dirty hands!! Just like Lauren, perfect hair and a great outfit with a dirty face and dirty hands. She loves to primp it up, but doesn't mind get dirty too! ;)

She loves to ride her bike. It has been an unusually long and cold winter so its been a while since the bikes were out. I love the look..boots, shorts, 3/4" sleeve shirt and a ballcap...that's my boo!

Day 29

Tweenager (almost)....


I just love this kid! It totally breaks my heart that she will be a whopping TEN in a few days! I wanted to capture the essence of who she is today since the only other posts I have of her she is doing homework (a constant in her life). I just sat in her room and watched her today. As I tell her all the time, she is my favorite Megan in the whole wide world!!

Reading, reading, reading whether she likes it or not..haha.

And what she loves best, talking to her best friend over the phone! She is so serious about the plans they were making.
