M has been wearing a key ring around her finger for a ring the past couple of days so I thought perhaps she might be old enough for a real one. This morning I let her try on my pinkie ring to get a measurement of her finger and later in the day, I went to James Avery and picked this one out for her.
When I gave it to her after she got home, she said thank you and gave me a big hug because she said that just a thank you wasn't enough. I asked her what she thought the ring meant and she replied, "that my heart belongs to Jesus." I love this kid.
And of course, little man asked me to take his picture "just like this" and who could say no to that? Certainly not me.
