Took L out today with the yellow parasol. Looks like a cwb would have been helpful and maybe a smidgen less flash. I really like to keep the detail in the sky, but balancing that with exposing the subject correctly is a challenge...back to the drawing board.
Nope. Just the only one who didn't ditch me for one of his friends..haha. He was working hard on practicing his first and last names this morning.
There has been so much rain this month that our average rain collection is about 3" and we have had about 10" so far. This is our front porch; it is GROWING! We will have to get a pressure washer and kill this will bleach...yech!
This was C's basketball team this summer with Coach Daddy. He says he wants to give it another try next summer...uhhmm, we'll see.
Well, at least he looks good in the jersey! ;)
So Cole decided he wanted to watch the Star Wars movies today and why one earth would you simply watch a movie when you can re-enact it with little bitty people?
So he got all of his little guys out and set them all up it battle!
My Japanese parasols came in today so I grabbed Meg (she was thrilled) who was waiting for daddy to finish fixing her 4-wheeler.
My little man is FIVE, I can't believe it. We went out today to celebrate his birthday since his party won't be until next month and we ate terrible pizza and played games! The girls were so sweet, they used their tickets to buy him something.
He picked salad and angel hair for dinner and picked cupcakes instead of a cake. He wanted the ones that had all different colors (pink for M and green for L and blue for him). I guess we're doing something right with these three! :) We put five candles in his and sang happy birthday. After his bath, he passed out cold...a very full day.
We went to the pool this evening and C was no where near the shoulder monkey he was last week. 
He let daddy swing him around an he was loving it. He wants to be on the swim team next summer and so he's gonna have to work on it!
No shave, no make-up, no kids; just us. I have been wanting to take this picture for quite a while. The way we are on the couch, this is how you will find us most nights when Leno is on and I love that I have it to keep now.
Since they will be going to Chippy's house, land of circus trips, bike rides and bottomless bowls of popcorn; I thought I would capture them first thing this morning. You can tell by the light that C was up first! Already on his cookies after breakfast by the time I caught up with him!
Next up was L. I was ready for her!
This was so hilarious in the bathtub tonight! His hair is so long that it will slick up to a fauxhawk. I love his wide eye look too. There is never a dull moment when C's around!
Today the sky was totally overcast and grey (to be expected when all it does is rain every day), but we were able to get out and play for a bit anyway. I am amazed at how much I love the light at the edge of my garage of all places!
Miss R...what a cutie! I love bokeh, but I really need to work on watching my planes. It drives me bonkers when I mess it up.

The allowed M to join the fun too...lucky her! So I had my set up and snapped some of the two girlie girls and their piggie tales!
The kids all wanted to go outside today and play for a bit but with this heat, it wasn't long before they were back inside needing to cool off.
I have been desperate to get a picture of C with his Cars umbrella and slicker that he couldn't live without. Well today, the weather was beautiful and sunny but it was raining too so I thought I would give it a shot. Not so easy. He was creating a big shadow on himself and it was so bright from the sun that it was impossible to get a good exposure. This image took WAY too much post to get it to look like this. Maybe I should try again when it is gray and yucky to go with the rain.
Here are a couple from my maternity session today. Such a sweet couple! This is their first baby and it's gonna be a little boy named Jay.
ain't got nothin on this boy! Look at that face, he knows he's got "it". You can see the world of hurt he is gonna put me & T through in about 10 years...maybe sooner! 
Although he got very emotional when he saw these, daddy very strongly *suggested* that we both have these printed and they be on my site.
My goodness, she is beautiful.
Nothin you could do could take me away from my guys... I just love these two men so much.
Our little friend was back today so I was able to have even more fun with her. She is such a photogenic sweetheart!
