We didn't make it to church yesterday because L was running a fever which tends to happen on a regular basis. As a general rule, we don't treat it until it hits over 101. The reason being, a fever is the body's way of fighting infection and in most cases the fever will break on it's own after it's done it's job. Well yesterday, it was almost 102 so we knew her body needed a little help. Today her temp is still hovering around 100 and she feels just yucky. I have a session tomorrow with a senior guy and his drum set (fun, fun) so I was setting up a drop and lights and she gave a helping hand. She is so heartbreaking when she is sick, isn't she? She knows how to work the sympathy with those big brown eyes and ever-present Piggy.
