C has been desperate to find a "wishing flower" and make a wish and since they are regarded as weeds, dandelions are hard to find. Well, today on the way home from school I spotted some and pulled into a parking lot to pick a few. They sat on my passenger seat in the car until we could get through with everything we needed to do. Unfortunately the winds have picked up considerably so the first few were duds because by the time he sat down to blow them, the breeze had made his wish for him. We found one not quite fully bloomed and he had to really give it his all!
Nope, not a big enough blow...
There we go!
Then he found this one that he wanted to sniff. Good thing it was no where near ready to release or he'd have inhaled them!
